Buzzy is read-only: it connects to a social or ad account you authorise, reads what that platform reports, and never posts, edits or deletes anything there. This page explains how to remove the data Buzzy itself has stored about your connected accounts.
The fastest way: delete it yourself, immediately, from inside Buzzy. No request form, no waiting on us — Settings has a real delete, not a flag.
This is a genuine deletion, not a soft flag: your organisation, every connected account's stored data, your collected analytics history and your user record are all removed permanently. There is no retained copy. If you want a copy of your data first, use Export in the same Settings screen before deleting.
If you only want Buzzy to stop reading one account rather than delete your whole Buzzy account, disconnect it from Settings → Manage Connections. Buzzy immediately stops collecting from it and erases the stored access token for that connection. Historical data Buzzy already collected from it remains part of your account's analytics history unless you delete your account entirely.
Revoking Buzzy's access directly from a platform's own security settings (rather than from inside Buzzy) stops Buzzy from reading that account going forward, but does not automatically delete data already collected — the platform does not tell Buzzy to do that. To remove data Buzzy already holds, use the steps above, or email us and we will do it for you.
Email hello@trybuzzy.com from the address on the account, stating which account you want deleted. We confirm identity and complete the deletion within 30 days, in line with our Privacy Policy.
